Cute Halloween story for littles。 My Spooktober book challenge had a prompt to read a children's Halloween book and this was a good choice。 Appropriate for pre-k kiddos。 Cute Halloween story for littles。 My Spooktober book challenge had a prompt to read a children's Halloween book and this was a good choice。 Appropriate for pre-k kiddos。 。。。more

The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams – This is on kindle unlimited。 If you want a non-scary version of Little Red Riding Hood meets the legend of Sleepy Hollow, this is really cute! Happy Hallow Reading!

Overrated。

If an adult reads this to a younger audience stressing how the lady behaves it could be an excellent book about facing your fears。 It's rather subtle but would work well with the right readee。 If an adult reads this to a younger audience stressing how the lady behaves it could be an excellent book about facing your fears。 It's rather subtle but would work well with the right readee。 。。。more

Read for my daughter’s nap time。 A lady not afraid of anything on her way out to the woods to collect nuts and herbs。 On her way back home she was followed by shoes, pants, shirts etc。 The last one said boo and she was scared and rushed home。Read from kindle unlimited。

Sometimes things seem scary but it doesn't always mean it is; you just have to change your perspective I guess。 Sometimes things seem scary but it doesn't always mean it is; you just have to change your perspective I guess。 。。。more

as you can see on Amazon the illustrations are just amazing 。。。but i read it through KU 。。。and that is how i have to review it 。。。 there are so books that are great 。。。 in the sizing on a kindle 。。。 i have a kindle fire 。。。 so certain books are just to tiny 。。。which causes the text to be even tiny-er 。。。 so i would recommend reading in a real hand held book 。。。 not on your kindles。 that always makes me sad i think all books should be great no matter the device。

Fun read aloud! Students can act out the items motions and chant along with you。 For extension, students can create pictures to hold up for each item as the read aloud is performed。

My 2 and a half year old LOVES this book。 I often times find myself reading it multiple times a night before bed。 He loves to stop and point out all the different clothes (especially the shoes) on each page, and has now learned to call all pumpkins 'boos' from this book which is super sweet。 A classic I grew up with that turned into a family favorite with my boys。 My 2 and a half year old LOVES this book。 I often times find myself reading it multiple times a night before bed。 He loves to stop and point out all the different clothes (especially the shoes) on each page, and has now learned to call all pumpkins 'boos' from this book which is super sweet。 A classic I grew up with that turned into a family favorite with my boys。 。。。more

ALthough this isn't a Caldecott Book for Caldecott Book Awards week it still is a winner of KeyStone Book Awards and rightfully so。 This book again has intreging illustration which we learned in class this week is very important because some kids will get this book read to them before they can even read themselves and that's what will tie them in。 The useage of repeation is a good literacy tool for students to learn and personally i was always giddley afraid of this book as a kid。 What a classic ALthough this isn't a Caldecott Book for Caldecott Book Awards week it still is a winner of KeyStone Book Awards and rightfully so。 This book again has intreging illustration which we learned in class this week is very important because some kids will get this book read to them before they can even read themselves and that's what will tie them in。 The useage of repeation is a good literacy tool for students to learn and personally i was always giddley afraid of this book as a kid。 What a classic。 。。。more

Genre: Modern Fantasy Age Range: Early Primary This is a fun book to read that is very interactive! I enjoyed the illustrations of this book as well, it made me feel as though I was in the woods with her。 Great book to read to your class during Halloween! It also teaches kids how to face their fears whenever they are scared。

Emily Heid

In my opinion, this book deserves 5 stars because it teaches children a lesson of not being afraid。 I also enjoy how it incorporate onomatopoeia which can help introduce the topic before instructions。 This is definitely a book I would like to have in my future classroom!

Hailey Carpenter

I liked this book and how it pronunciation of sounds through out!

There was a little old lady who was not afraid of anything - until one night she was walking home after dark and she heard strange noises。 This is a funny cumulative story with a great ending。 The illustrations are bright and fun。

This was a cute story to read around halloween time to your class。 It has a great theme at the end that tells its readers to face their fears because not only may they not be afraid anymore but they might find a great surprise that they love!

This little old lady wasn't afraid of anything。。。 or was she? A perfect story for Halloween time in the younger classrooms。 This story tells students that it's okay to be scared sometimes, and sometimes thinking outside the box can make that fear disappear。 Would pair this book with a lesson that has the students write a story about conquering their fears。 This little old lady wasn't afraid of anything。。。 or was she?
